Safe and top quality food

Our main target has always been to offer canned tomatoes of the highest quality. For this reason, ALL our metalic tins are BPANi, that means, they do not contain bisphenol A.

Bisphenol A has been identified in the most recent scientific studies as a potential risk element in certain circumstances for human health. To this end, European Union legislation has stablished restrictive measures on its use in varnishes that come into contact with food, but not its total prohibition. However, since 2020, at Conservas Martinete we have just used metalic tins whose interior varnishes do not contain bisphenol A (BPANi), anticipating european regulations in food safety, offering maximum protection to consumers, as well as trust of consume canned tomatoes that meet the highest quality and food safety standars.
